My dog loves the lamb countrypet rolls. This is the only dog food that she will eat. I introduced my vet to the food.
Thank you,

I am so happy that I found your Country Pet Cat Food! I have 4 cats and 2 dogs, and 2 of the cats are diabetic. With your wonderful food, I have managed to completely put their diabetes into remission, no more shots or glucose testing!!!! YEAH !!! Their vet could not believe that I changed them to your food, and within 3 days, they were both in complete remission. I have the blood glucose test results to prove it to him! Diabetic cats cannot have carbs, which dry cat foods are full of, so your food gives them the balanced “carnivore” diet that cats need. All of my cats are on your food and they cry and paw at my legs while I am preparing it for them. I have not changed the dogs over to your food as of yet, I would like to try that next! One of the dogs has to be locked outside when the cats are eating, because he pushes them out of the way and eats all of their food :) So if he loves the cat food that much, I am sure he will love the dog food! Thanks for such a great product! Claire

I recently lost a Mini Schnauzer due to many health problems. While he was ill I took him to a holistic vet who recommended your food. I used to buy it in a local store but they no longer carry it so I’m glad I found your site so I can have it by the case in my freezer for my 2 current Mini Schnauzers. I’m hoping they will lead healthier, longer lives than my older boy did by eating a much better diet.
I’m thinking of switching my cats to it but I’m afraid to pay the money for a whole case and then find they don’t eat it! Eventually I’ll probably do it or buy a mixed case.

  CustomerCare wrote @

Hi wildangel5
We will gladly wave the mixed case fee and replace a roll of “dog food” with a roll of “cat food” in your next order.

Did you know? Cats often enjoy our free range chicken. I know that the chicken label says dog food, but cats love it.
Since CountryPet or Real Meat Foods are meat, not corn based fillers, we do not have to add allot of nutrients and cleverly market an un-natural diet as a healthy one.
Taurine is naturally present in CountryPet or Real Meat Food in excellent quantities, so we never actually need to add Taurine. Interestingly, the only reason it has to be added to dry foods is that it does not naturally occur in grains (it does in meats) and as an obligate carnivore, cats need it. Cats can eat both our “Cat” and “Dog” foods as a complete and balanced diet.

Hello, Everyone and Merry CHRISTmas! I wanted to tell about my experience with Country Pet. We got our first Jack Russell, a male named Bandit, about 5 years ago when he was 3 years old. Bandit had an enlarged heart, severe allergies and had pneumonia. He would vomit after eating the food the previous owners gave him so a friend told me about country pet. We started Bandit on it and low and behold, the vomiting stopped. After being on it about 1.5 years, the vet noticed after a chest xray that his heart had actually gotten smaller. It was still slighly enlarged but not nearly to the size it had been. PRAISE GOD FOR COUNTRY PET!!! The vet asked what we were feeding him and we told him.

We got our second Jack, a little six year old female named Isabella about 3 years ago. When we got her, she was all gray with no other coloring, and her teeth were all black and she was missing teeth. We were told she was a ‘VERY FUSSY EATER AND NEVER EATS DOG FOOD’. We didn’t like what they had her on so we went straight to the country pet dog food. I am happy to say that now, three years later, about half of her coloring has come back and there are some beautiful browns, blacks and tans in her coat. She looks like a different dog.
THANK YOU COUNTRY PET AND KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. WE APPLAUD YOU!

I was told that my 7 year old cat was diabetic and would have to have insuline shots. After doing some research and finding Country Pet Foods I began to feed only Country Pet to my cat–no dry cat food. My husband and I were amazed at the difference this has made. Our cat started to gain weight and energy and no longer laps up water like crazy. I took him to a different Vet last week and was told that he is doing fine. I am so happy that I found your food and can buy it near my home. Thank you so much!!

2 Australian Labradoodles Who L-O-V-E Countrypet

My two Australian Labradoodles were on a raw diet when we got them. Their coats were unblievable, and I wanted them to stay that way. I worried about providing a balanced diet for them. After researching for months I discovered Countrypet. They really like it! One of the doodles has a very sensitive stomach, so many things made him have digestive issues. Not so with this food. He has done great.

I tried to embed a slide show of our 2 doodles playing at Tubbs Inlet in North Carolina. This is my first attempt so it may not work!

I’m so thrilled with Countrypet foods and treats! My dogs are so healhty and happy now. I’m so happy that Countrypet products are NOT made in China.

I think the big pet food companies that produce their products in China try to brush the facts about Chinese made pet foods and treats under the carpet. Look at this latest news item.
http://www.truthaboutpetfood.com/articles/189/1/The-Price-Isnt-Right/Page1.html

I’ll never use them again. My pets’ lives are too important to me.

  Claudia wrote @

Me again….the chinese made products are Lick your Chops and Dogswell. I saw the “Made in China” on the packages.

Does anyone else know of any other pet food products made in China?

Countrypet Products are made in New Zealand and USA – I checked the packs. I’m so happy because my dogs do so well on their food.

My lab retriever ate the same Science Diet and ProPlan for her first 11 years. Then, she refused to touch anything remotely like dog food. Now, she is able to have a better, balanced diet.

I’ve finally found you….last time I called your westside office and I did get some action on the availability of Countrypet at the Whole Foods Market on Ventra Blvd. and Canoga Ave. in Woodland Hills. Now we are back to square one again and I’m searching for stores that have stock and must say your location list for zip 91364 requres some serious updating; for instance the Whole Foods mentioned above has only Countrypet
Cat Foodd and the Red Barn in Tarzana does not carry your product, a store in Agoura has a very limited quantity as does the Porter Ranch Whole Foods. My two small dogs are addicted to Venison, Lamb; Lamb/Vegetable and I have to fight to have a source. See from your site that you now sell online; however, I don’t have storage room for a complete carton……forgot to mention that the Thousand Oaks Whole Foods had an abundant supply of Countrypet; however, I have a temporary mobility problem and can not do the prox. sixty miles for the trip…….will try the Porter Ranch store for the moment. You have a wonderful product……where is the supply?

My cat Bootsie has responded very well to Counrtypet Food. He has been scratching so bad from allergies that he has scabs. Now after using your food for 4 months he allergies have seemed to stop bothering him!

I look forward to receiving yoru coupons so I can try your cat food. I see that your food is grain free, and has ALL of the qualities that I look for!!! Most foods on the market do not! I see it is from New Zealand, & I know that they have stricter policies regarding pesticides, hormones, etc. Sounds like this will be a much higher quality food than most that are out there!

I own three beautiful, happy and now healthy dogs and they all love the Country Pet Lamb and Veggie. I can’t feed them anything else or their digestive system goes nuts!

Thank you for producing such a fantastic product.

Just found your frozen food at Raley’s. It was on sale so I thought I’d give it a try. I am impressed with the ingredients and processing and my dogs love it!

Thanks god I found your food! I have two very picky dogs who just won’t eat anything! They are so spoiled. So, I saw your food at Raley’s on sale and I thought I’d give it a try. Then, my dogs have loved it ever since that day I brought it home (specifically the venison). Thanks to you, my dogs finally found a food they loved, thanks again, It is a bit pricey, but it’s worth it. :]

Country Pet is the only dog food our beagle will eat! She enjoys the variety of flovors. I think chicken is her favorite. We can get your food at Nob Hill in Gilroy, CA, but it is not stocked regularly, so I stock up when I can. I miss the online coupons. At nearly $8.00 a tube, the coupons come in quite handy. Thanks!

There is nothing on the market like your Venison Country Pets dog food. The latest version has a great new tecture and both of my dogs love it. The only problem I have is finding a place to purchase your product as my local Whole Foods Market has advised me that they will no longer carry it.

Where can I order your product online?

  Countrypet Naturals wrote @

Let us know which Whole Foods you purchase it from and we will call them and also send you a free coupon to go in and get some for free.

You can buy from us at http://www.countrypet.com and click on the shopping link at the top of the page.

I was at a pet store in Floriday when I was visiting my parents and the owner gave me a sample of your countrypet Naturals 85% dog food (The one that came in a 2lb bag) and my very finicky 4 year old Jack Russell woofed it down in about 2 seconds .. The problem is I can’t find any mention of this product on your web page nor when I performed a Google search. Any pointers on product information and where I can order would be appreciated.

Thanks

I too am looking for the Real Meat Countrypet Naturals 85% dog food (The one that came in a 2lb bag). Are there any coupons available for this product?

  Niki_vet_in_training wrote @

Hi, the food that is in the 2 lb bag can be obtained from realmeatpet I am not sure if they have coupons or not. This product is not part of the Countrypet Naturals range anymore.
